About us
We have been hobby breeders of different breeders over the last few decades. Then in 2009 we got our first Golden Retriever and we have never looked back. We fell in love with this breed.
I hate to sound filled with hubris about our pups.. but I think I might so I’ll apologize in advance. Here goes: we believe we have the very best puppies. And the reason, for that is that we do what nobody else does. We treat our puppies as our very own from the moment they’re born. So before you take your pup home to love him or her home to love them. We love them, These puppies know very well what being loved and cared for daily feels like.. because they are held and shown love every single day from the moment they’re born.

It’s true. Every day these puppies are cuddled and played with and loved.
These puppies are not being left in crates or kennels all day. We use the kennels only if we both must leave. These pups are kennel trained for up to 8 hours of overnight for their future parents if the need he - but our kennel is retired in favor of littermates play and socialization .
Our pups are fed Merrick grain free puppy kibble and puppy plate grain free canned food. They get lots of healthy treats from the Natural Dog Co. and other good companies (and no, we gain nothing from mentioning them lol) and always have lots of toys to play with, too.
But let’s get back to the LOVE. We LOVE our dogs and they are our children, our FAMILY MEMBERS. That means their babies are our family too, that said it actually is TWICE a day EVERY DAY that each pup is held and loved individually. And it matters. A LOT. Come pay us a visit.. We think you’ll see the difference in our pups. The more you put into researching the breeders, the better pup you'll get. If you get to know your breeder, you'll know your pup.
And lastly, as always, we really hope you get one of our Golden Retriever’s but if you don’t, we still really hope you get a Golden!!
The parents
We give our puppies the unconditional love and kindness we know that they deserve. Because honestly Golden Retrievers really are freaking ‘Living Hugs!’ And as for the parents, Idgie ( Mama ) & Grady ( Papa) they are very much our children so our personal assessment could sound a little bit biased ..ha! But here goes:
Both parents are in excellent health and always have been, both have had all vaccinations and both are right around 3 years old. ​Idgie (the mom) is slightly older by 2 months but both turned 3 this year. We intentionally raised them together knowing that they would be in an arranged marriage with the hope that they’d fall in love. They did and yes I’m being serious we have done this before and we find we have much happier dogs.
Idgie is the most amazing dog I’ve ever owned and she’s also the smartest dog that I’ve ever owned ( and I’m 66 years old, have had dogs from birth until now and I have been the mom of a Border Collie, too) One of our pups from their last litter is now a service dog and is getting glowing reviews. Idgie is also the greatest dog mom that I’ve ever seen and I’ve been breeding for over 35 years. She is quite literally a hobby breeders dream come true!
And so is our Grady ( the dad), he is brilliant too, but he is also the most empathic animal that I’ve ever seen, and or, owned . In fact he is such an amazing and such a highly sensitive boy, that I had a friend of mine literally beg me to sell him Grady, offering me double what I had paid for him, by the time he was 8 months old.
In conclusion Goldens are wonderful, and if I’m truly being honest you probably could not go too wrong with breeding any pair of Goldens who were not closely related .. but in our case, our choosing these two particular pups to breed was one of the best choices we have personally ever made because they have given us the most magnificent litter of Golden Retriever puppies that we could have ever asked for.
The grandparents
We are two gray-haired retired older ladies who love Golden Retrievers. So, we have a lot of time on our hands and a whole lot of love to give. But, if we are being truthful, we get much more from the Goldens because there is nothing more amazing and more healing for the soul than the love of an entire litter of Golden Retrievers.
